About Us

Boyd Carlson founded Carlson Building Service and Supplies in 1980, as a 2,000 sq ft hardware store with a single small warehouse. Today, the company is owned and operated by his grandchildren Ben and Josh Illick. The facility has been expanded to include a combined 9,000 sq ft of hardware/showroom as well as almost 3 city blocks of building materials inventory. Services also include a tool rental, custom sheds, custom tiny homes, hydraulic hose manufacturing, and complete estimating and design services.
